Vinny encourages Suki to make things up with Eve after her abrupt exit from the Slaters'.
Lily and Ricky celebrate Mother's Day at Walford East alongside Amy, Jack and Stacey. Amy and Ricky ask if they can see Denise but she's still refusing to see anyone. Johnny tells Stacey that she needs to visit Denise before Jack does or their secret could come out.
Jean saves the day when Jade is about to cancel her charity auction.
As Cindy looks forward to celebrating Mother's Day with Gina, Peter and Anna together for the first time, George is downbeat after learning that there have been no DNA matches in the search for his birth family. George reluctantly agrees to tell the girls the truth about their heritage, leaving them shocked.
After getting a call from Gloria, George visits her and Eddie to tell them never to contact him again. Eddie informs George that he has information on his birth mother - but will only hand it over if George gives him a character reference in court tomorrow.

A conflicted George talks to Johnny about the legal implications of giving a statement in support of Eddie.
George heads to court and prepares to take to the stand, while Gloria is distracted by the arrival of a mystery woman.
Also: Eve admits to Suki that she has concerns about living with her family, while Jean gets some help from Yolande and Pastor Clayton with the charity auction.

Stacey comes up with a story for Jack about why she's visited Denise, but he's upset when Denise tells him to leave. Later, Denise admits to the doctor that she feels safe in the hospital and wants to stay.
