Aberdeen manager Derek McInnes has insisted that his side will go into their latest Europa League qualifier with great confidence.
The Dons travel to face Spanish side Real Sociedad tonight in the third round of qualifying after beating Groningen 2-1 on aggregate last week.
"Real Sociedad is a strong name in European football and I think La Liga is regarded, by most, as the best league in Europe," McInnes told the club's official website.
"Any team that qualifies for Europe from La Liga has to be taken seriously, they are obviously a very good side, with a good tradition and we are delighted to be playing against them. We want to do the best we can.
"On the field, we're in a very good place just now - physically we look good and we look confident - and we take the confidence we have built up into this game."
The Scottish Premiership outfit have also beaten Daugava Riga during qualification.
