AC Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri is determined to begin their Champions League campaign with a victory over Anderlecht at the San Siro on Tuesday.
The Rossoneri have made a disappointing start to the Serie A season, picking up just three points from three matches so far.
On Saturday Milan lost 1-0 to Atalanta at home, and Allegri is keen to make amends on Tuesday in their Group C opener.
"Tomorrow is our first match in the Champions League so we must try to win in order to ensure a more positive outlook," he is quoted as saying by Uefa.com on Monday.
"On Saturday, the team weren't great but created opportunities. At the moment, we are not doing enough to win games and we have to start doing that.
"We are not happy with our bad start but we have to think positively, we have to focus on the game and concentrate.
"The players know that we can challenge for the top but now the priority is this game and we have to face Anderlecht with a desire to make amends."
In the other Group C game on Tuesday, Malaga host Zenit St Petersburg.
