AC Milan forward Stephan El Shaarawy has been ruled out of tomorrow night's Champions League clash with Ajax after suffering an injury in training this morning.
El Shaarawy has endured a frustrating start to the campaign blighted by injury problems, restricting him to just two appearances in Serie A for the Rossoneri.
The 20-year-old had been named in Milan's squad for the trip to Amsterdam after recovering from a muscle strain, but has today suffered a suspected hairline fracture in his left foot, according to Football Italia.
Milan boss Massimiliano Allegri will now have to cope without the Italy international once again tomorrow night, but does have Mario Balotelli, Alessandro Matri and Robinho fit and fighting for selection.
The Serie A giants have endured a difficult start to the season partly due to numerous injury problems, with summer signing Kaka among a lengthy list of players on the treatment table.
