AC Milan's on-loan midfielder Adel Taarabt has revealed that he is keen to repay the faith that the head coach Clarence Seedorf has put in him with good performances both in attack and defensively.
Taarabt, who joined the club on loan from Queens Park Rangers in January, was a constant threat to Atletico Madrid on Wednesday night and despite Milan's defeat the Moroccan said that the tie is not yet over.
"I will give everything I can for our coach to repay the faith he has in me," UEFA.com quotes Taarabt as saying. "Tonight he wanted me to push forward but also to contribute defensively, and I tried to do this as well as I could.
"My position is not important, as long as I'm on the pitch. We did not deserve to lose, but unfortunately they scored late on. That's all that matters. It won't be easy to win in Madrid, but we must be confident because qualification is not lost yet. If we play like we did tonight, we can still make it."
Before he joined Milan, Taarabt was on loan at Fulham in the Premier League.
