BATE Borisov claimed a point from their home Champions League group fixture with Italian champions AC Milan this evening.
The visiting Rossoneri opened the scoring after 22 minutes courtesy of Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The Swedish international shot low from inside the area following a pass from Robinho.
Borisov's equaliser came ten minutes after the break via the penalty spot. Full-back Ignazio Abate tripped Artyom Kontsevoi inside the area and Renan Bressan stepped up to convert the resultant penalty kick.
Kevin-Prince Boateng shot wide of a target when well placed as Milan looked to find the winning goal.
However, it was the hosts who went closest to claiming maximum points, but goalkeeper Christian Abbiati parried away Maksim Skavysh's shot in stoppage time.
