New AC Milan coach Clarence Seedorf has admitted that he might not be able to instantly turn around the club's fortunes, but does expect slow progress.
After Milan's 2-1 home defeat to Udinese in the Coppa Italia quarter-finals, Seedorf said that the result was disappointing but did see some positives from the performance.
"Sadly, we're not yet playing with any consistency, the way we want to be," Seedorf told RAI.
"But I saw some interesting things today and I told my lads to remain serene. I can't perform miracles."
Milan are currently 11th in Serie A following the disappointing first half of the season that saw Massimiliano Allegri sacked.
