AC Milan are reportedly planning to offer a contract extension to manager Gennaro Gattuso.
The former midfielder is credited with reversing the Rossoneri's fortunes since taking charge in 2017, helping his team make a near-flawless start to 2018.
Since last Christmas, the Italian giants were on a run of nine wins and four draws until Arsenal defeated them 2-0 at San Siro in the Europa League.
Although Milan have since crashed out of Europe after losing 3-1 to the Gunners in the second leg, the club's hierarchy are satisfied that Gattuso has done enough to earn a new deal, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.
The club are reportedly on the verge of offering the coach a contract extension which will keep him at San Siro until 2020.
