AC Milan striker Mario Balotelli believes that referees in Italy are stricter with him than with other players in Serie A.
The Italian was booked for dissent in the Rossoneri's 4-2 home win against Catania in Serie A on Sunday in what was his return game following a two-match ban.
"It is not normal that I have to take so many kicks and yet they don't whistle for anything and then, when I just say one word, they ban me," he told Sky Sport Italia.
"As a result, I cannot play. I say half a word and they book me, while others can do what they want."
Balotelli joined Milan from Manchester City in January.
