AC Milan forward Antonio Cassano has said that the Rossoneri are the strongest team in Serie A, despite missing out on the Scudetto this season.
The former Sampdoria striker, whose side sit four points adrift of league leaders Juventus with one game to go, insists that the Milan club's injuries are to blame for finishing in second place.
"We have to congratulate Juve," he told Milan Channel.
"But we had a billion injuries, without which we would have won with a six or seven-point margin.
"We are the strongest team in Serie A but we were not consistent like Juve. But Milan went out to win it all, and we will give our all next season too."
