AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has said that he is "happy" with his side's draw against Napoli on Sunday.
The Rossoneri drew their Serie A game against Walter Mazzarri's team 1-1 at the San Siro despite ending the contest with 10 men.
"I think that the draw was the right result, we knew that we'd have a tough April and it's an important point that allows us to stay in third ahead of the next round," Milan's official website quotes him as saying.
"We're in a position that a few months ago would have been unthinkable. It was a tough game, Napoli are a great team otherwise they wouldn't be in this position. In three rounds, we were up against fourth, second and now we'll be up against the top team as well. If we end up on even points, it'll be a question of goal difference.
"We got two points in two games against Napoli and at the moment Napoli are head on goal difference. I'm happy about the result especially after we went down to 10 men. It was a tough and complicated game and I'm happy with the point."
Milan are currently third in Serie A with 59 points from 32 matches.
