AC Milan defender Adil Rami has expressed his delight at the improvement the club has made in recent weeks.
The Rossoneri have won their last two games in Serie A and travel to Genoa on Monday evening, as they look to mount a late challenge for a place in the Europa League next season.
"I've noticed that we're improving as now we understand that we have to play compact," he told the club's official website.
"We're doing better at both ends of the pitch and that's what we have to do against Genoa to confirm the good form that we're in. I've already scored at the Marassi stadium but I'm not thinking about scoring.
"I want to focus on defending and if they don't score even a single goal, that'll mean I've done well. After that, a goal would be a bonus."
Milan are currently 11th in the Serie A table.
