Gianluca Zambrotta has said that he believes Pippo Inzaghi would be more prepared to replace Massimiliano Allegri than Clarence Seedorf.
Allegri's contract as AC Milan coach expires next year, and with the team 20 points off the top of Serie A, both men have been linked to the role.
The former Rossoneri defender, who is now player-coach at Swiss side Chiasso, told RAI Sport: "At this moment in time it will probably be left to Allegri to lead the side out of this situation.
"For the future, though, I think Inzaghi would be more prepared for the Coach role than Seedorf. I think there is a lack of experience in the squad, but I still think Allegri has control of the squad.
"This is a difficult moment for the team and they unfortunately can't count on players such as Mattia de Sciglio and Stephan El Shaarawy, players who really helped last term."
Inzaghi currently coaches the club's Under-19 side, while Seedorf is continuing his playing career with Botafogo in Brazil.
