A Zlatan Ibrahimovic brace has seen AC Milan come from behind to beat Roma 2-1 at the San Siro.
In an entertaining first half, the hosts nearly made an early breakthrough when Ibrahimovic's free kick was palmed away by Maarten Stekelenburg in the Roma goal.
Milan continued to press and they were almost rewarded when Stephan El Shaarawy lashed his shot against the post.
Despite the home side's dominance, Roma went in ahead at the break when Pablo Osvaldo managed to convert the ball into the net from a teammate's wayward effort.
The Rossoneri were level just eight minutes into the second half when they were awarded a penalty after Daniele De Rossi had handled Massimo Ambrosini's shot. Ibrahimovic stepped up to sweep the spot kick home and get his side back on terms.
Milan pinned their opponents back for large parts of the second half and Sully Muntari nearly gave them the lead when his stinging volley came back off the crossbar following good individual work.
As time was running out, Ibrahimovic earned his team the three points when he headed in his 22nd goal of the season from Philippe Mexes's cross with just seven minutes to play.
