Empoli vs. Lazio (Friday, 5.30pm)

Lazio travel to Tuscany for their final fixture before Christmas, where they will meet Empoli at the Stadio Carlo Castellani in Serie A on Friday.

Both sides are enduring poor starts to the season, with the hosts in the relegation zone and Lazio down in the bottom half.

We say: Empoli 0-1 Lazio

Lazio's poor form means while they may be slight favourites for this one, it could be a much closer outing than Sarri would prefer.

Hosts Empoli are in the midst of a rut though, and while two of their three wins this season came against Fiorentina and Napoli, this will be a tough task, especially with Caputo potentially out injured.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Sassuolo vs. Genoa (Friday, 5.30pm)

Two sides hovering just above the Serie A relegation zone meet at the Mapei Stadium on Friday, when Sassuolo host Genoa.

Both clubs are currently tied on 16 points, just four points above the bottom three, heading into the final matchday before Christmas.

We say: Sassuolo 1-1 Genoa

With just one win in 10 for the hosts, and none in their last five for Genoa, this is set to be a cagey encounter against two sides looking to move away from the drop zone.

Draws have been common for Sassuolo, and despite Genoa's very poor away form this season, this will likely end in a stalemate.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Monza vs. Fiorentina (Friday, 7.45pm)

Two sides performing above expectations in Serie A meet at the U-Power Stadium on Friday, when Monza host Fiorentina.

In a meeting between two highly-regarded managers, Raffaele Palladino takes on Vincenzo Italiano, with both eyeing up qualification for Europe.

We say: Monza 1-1 Fiorentina

A win for either side would be huge at this stage of the season with the table in its current state, but the two are likely to cancel each other out in this one.

Monza's pragmatic approach could well frustrate a Fiorentina side without talisman Gonzalez, as the visitors have been involved in close encounters in the majority of their matches this season.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Salernitana vs. AC Milan (Friday, 7.45pm)

AC Milan travel to the Stadio Arechi for their final game before Christmas on Friday, against bottom-of-the-table Salernitana.

The fixtures pits Salernitana boss Filippo Inzaghi against the club where he spent most of his playing career, and a brief time as manager.

We say: Salernitana 0-3 AC Milan

Milan have been very strong in attack and should take advantage of a fragile Salernitana backline and record a comfortable victory for the second week running here.

Inzaghi's change in approach against Atalanta on Monday worked for a spell, but the quality of their opponents eventually shone through, and the same could well happen again.

Our tipster partners are predicting an away win.
