AC Milan will reportedly look to complete the transfer of Zlatan Ibrahimovic over the January transfer window.
The 38-year-old has previously enjoyed spells at Juventus, Milan and Inter, and looks likely to return to Serie A this season.
Ibrahimovic announced last month that he had left Los Angeles Galaxy following a two-year spell during which he scored 52 goals in the MLS.
According to Corriere della Sera, Milan remain in talks with the Swede, whom they hope to announce in time for the club's 120th anniversary on December 15.
It is claimed that the club have offered Zlatan an 18-month deal including a clause enabling him to leave next summer should the club fail to qualify for Europe.
Reports have suggested that Ibrahimovic is demanding a monthly wage of £860,000 in order to return to Serie A next month.
