AC Milan president Silvio Berlusconi has claimed that the club has sold Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Thiago Silva to Paris Saint-Germain.
Rumours sufraced on Wednesday night suggesting that the pair were close to sealing a €62m (£49m) joint move to the French side.
Berlusconi has now revealed that the duo will be departing the San Siro in order to save money.
"Yes, I have sold Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Thiago Silva to PSG," he is quoted as saying by Gazzetta dello Sport. "We save €150m (£118m) over two years."
Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani recently admitted that the players could be on their way out of Milan.
