AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has refused to rule out the sale of striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic and defender Thiago Silva.
Both players have been linked to various clubs, including reigning Premier League champions Manchester City, but a move has been denied by both the players and their agents.
However, while Galliani revealed that the club aren't looking to sell either Silva or Ibrahimovic, he also acknowledged that anything can happen in the transfer window.
"On August 31 we will reveal what the group will be, and it will be very competitive," he said.
"That doesn't mean that Ibrahimovic and Thiago Silva will leave. Anything is possible though as the transfer market is very unpredictable.
"It has happened in the past and it can happen again this season."
Thiago Silva recently signed a new contract with the Italian club, keeping him at the San Siro until 2017.
