AC Milan striker Stephan El Shaarawy has declared that he has no plans to leave the San Siro today, despite increased competition for places at the Rossoneri.
El Shaarawy had to settle for a place on the bench last night as Milan ran out < a href="/football/ac-milan/result/result-balotelli-inspires-milan-victory_102237.html">3-1 winners over Cagliari in Serie A, with Robinho preferred alongside Mario Balotelli in attack.
Milan have signed Alessandro Matri and Kaka in the last few days, giving coach Massimiliano Allegri a variety of attacking options in the final third.
Despite being dropped last weekend, El Shaarawy is determined to fight for his place at Milan, insisting that he will reject any late interest in his signature.
He told Sport Mediaset: "I have decided to stay at Milan. I have made a precise decision and, no matter what offer arrives, I want to stay at Milan.
"There's more competition in the squad now, but there will be playing time for everybody. I will fight for my place in the team."
The 20-year-old has scored 24 goals in 78 appearances for Milan since arriving at the San Siro two years ago.
