AC Milan are reportedly interested in bringing Lazio midfielder Danilo Cataldi to San Siro in the January transfer window.
The 21-year-old, who has made seven Serie A appearances this season, is contracted to Lazio until the summer of 2017.
However, according to Calciomercato, Milan are confident of enticing the Italian to the club, but are prepared to wait until next summer to complete a move.
Cataldi, who came through the youth system at Lazio and made his first-team debut in 2013, has earned 10 caps for Italy's Under-21 team.
The Rome-born youngster spent the 2013-14 campaign on loan at Serie B side Crotone.
