AC Milan midfielder Michael Essien has reportedly rejected interest from the Premier League to agree a deal with MLS side FC Dallas.
The former Chelsea midfielder is out of contract at the end of the season and is unlikely to sign an extension with the Italian outfit.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the 32-year-old has offers from the Premier League, but has decided to seek pastures new in America.
The same report has claimed that Essien could seek to leave Milan this month so he can be eligible for the start of the MLS season.
The Ghana international has made 58 appearances for his country.
