AC Milan are reportedly the favourites to sign CSKA Moscow midfielder Keisuke Honda this summer.

The Japan international, who impressed during the Confederations Cup in Brazil, has just six months remaining on his current contract with the Russian outfit.

Everton have been strongly linked with his services in recent weeks, but according to reports in Italy, Milan are confident of securing the signing of the playmaker for £6m.

It is believed that CSKA do not wish to sell Honda until the Russian Super Cup against Zenit St Petersburg on July 13.
