Goals from Sergio Cirio and Awer Mabil were enough for Adelaide United to see off Perth Glory this morning.
With a little more than a quarter of an hour played, Marcelo Carrusca played a defence-splitting pass through to Cirio, who was able to slide the ball past an advancing goalkeeper to put the home side in front.
Perth looked to shake things up at the break with Youssouf Hersi coming on for Nebojsa Marinkovic, but still struggled to get a foothold in the game after the restart and were two down on 67 minutes.
Mabil recieved the ball after making a good run into the box and opened up his body to slot into the bottom corner.
Perth were unable to mount a comeback, and Adelaide go joint top of the A League after a dominant performance in a 2-0 win.
