Adelaide United survived two second-half sending-offs to beat Perth Glory 3-1 in their opening A-League clash of the season at Hindmarsh Stadium.
Jeronimo Neumann scored twice for United in the first 30 minutes, with his strikes being separated by Ryo Nagai's 11th-minute reply for Glory.
Portuguese player Fabio Ferreira gave the Reds a two-goal cushion after the break, before his midfield partner Isaias was dismissed on 66 minutes to reduce the hosts to 10 men.
Nigel Boogaard also saw red for Adelaide in the latter stages in a feisty contest during which there were 12 bookings.
Adelaide's victory is enough to put them on top of the A-League table after the first round of fixtures.
