ADO Den Haag have climbed further away from the Eredivisie relegation zone courtesy of a 3-2 victory over fellow strugglers NAC Breda at the Kyocera Stadion.
The visitors found themselves ahead inside the opening 10 minutes when Demy de Zeeuw's perfectly-placed shot left Martin Hansen stranded between the sticks.
Robert Maaskant's men managed to hold onto their slender advantage until the interval, but they were pegged back 10 minutes after the restart when Michiel Kramer delicately lofted the ball over Jelle ten Rouwelaar after being played through on goal.
De Zeeuw then restored his side's advantage with a strike into the bottom corner from the edge of the box, but the Yellow Army were unable to hold on with their opponents twice finding a way through in the final 14 minutes.
Xander Houtkoop reacted quickest to tap home a shot which Rouwelaar failed to keep a hold of, and then Kramer latched onto a cross into the box late on, getting to the ball ahead of his marker to nod home and win three valuable points for Den Haag.
They now find themselves four points clear of danger, while Breda remain camped inside the bottom three with just three wins to their name all season.
