Ajax manager Frank de Boer has ruled out a move to the Premier League.
The former Netherlands defender had been mooted as a possible candidate to become head coach at Newcastle United.
However, De Boer has suggested that he will be remaining with the Eredivisie champions for the time being.
He is quoted by the Daily Mail as saying: "My heart says at this time that I stay at Ajax. The chance that I'll stay next season is greater than that I leave, I think."
De Boer has come under fire after Ajax lost ground on title rivals PSV Eindhoven.
The Amsterdam outfit's championship hopes suffered a further blow when they were beaten by Vitesse Arnhem.
