Algeria forward Islam Slimani has expressed his delight following the team's 4-2 win over South Korea at the World Cup.
Slimani was among the goalscorers on Sunday night as the Africans boosted their chances of reaching the second round with a comfortable victory in Porto Alegre.
The result also marked the first time that Algeria had won a match at the World Cup in 32 years.
"It's brilliant to score for my team, it's a wonderful feeling," Slimani told FIFA.com. "I have to thank the coach for giving me the opportunity and I can say that all of the players gave everything for this win.
"It's still our aim to reach the Round of 16, we have a chance and I hope we'll achieve that."
Algeria must avoid defeat to Russia in their final group game on Thursday if they want to progress in Brazil.
