Substitute Eddy Gnahore's late strike rescued a point for Amiens in a 1-1 draw at Bordeaux.

Samuel Kalu had struck in the 22nd minute with a header into the bottom corner from a cross by Sergi Palencia to put the hosts ahead.

But Gnahore ensured honours were even by firing in the leveller with three minutes remaining.

Cheick Timite had a chance to equalise for the visitors shortly before half-time but his angled drive was kept out by Bordeaux keeper Benoit Costil.

François Kamano could have doubled Bordeaux's lead following a swift counter-attack but he blazed his shot high and wide.

Amiens keeper Regis Gurtner then denied Kalu a second to keep his side in with a shout.

Gnahore entered the fray in the 67th minute and 20 minutes later he swept home a cross from Bakaye Dibassy to snatch a point.
