Ligue 2 side Angers have eliminated Sochaux from the Coupe de France at the last-32 stage.
The home side needed just one goal to knock out their Ligue 1 opponents, coming 20 minutes from time through Djibril Konate.
Ties in the next round will be played on Tuesday, February 11 and Wednesday, February 12.
Sochaux next have a huge game against fellow Ligue 1 strugglers Ajaccio, who were also knocked out this evening, on Saturday night.
