Dunfermline Athletic overcame 10-man Cowdenbeath with a 5-1 victory, as the visitors saw Michael Andrews receive a straight red card for a professional foul.

East Fife won a dramatic penalty shootout 4-3 against Dumbarton, after the visitors missed their last three penalties which would have guaranteed them a place in the next round.

Hibernian booked their place in the next round after they ran out 3-0 winners over Montrose.
