Diego Maradona has claimed that beating Germany in Sunday's World Cup final is not "mission impossible" for Argentina.
Joachim Low's side flashed their title credentials by thumping host nation Brazil 7-1 in Belo Horizonte on Tuesday to move one step away from ending a 24-year barren spell at the finals.
Consequently, Maradona feels that the Germans' "egos will be enlarged" as a result of their emphatic win and hopes that his compatriots can capitalise.
"The match against Germany will not be a mission impossible. It is not impossible to beat them," Maradona said during his show on Telesur.
"The German egos will be enlarged by their 7-1 win over Brazil. Their overconfidence could be a good thing for Argentina."
Sunday's clash at the Maracana is scheduled to kick off at 8pm.
