Bruno Martins Indi has conceded that the key for the Netherlands in their World Cup semi-final against Argentina is to stop Lionel Messi having a big impact on the game.
Messi, who played a crucial role in the quarter-final success over Belgium, has been in impressive form throughout the tournament, and Martins Indi is in no doubt that it will be the Barcelona forward who could cause the most damage to the Dutch on Wednesday evening.
"Argentina is still a very good team, but Belgium also got some chances against them," the defender told NUSport. "I've watched that match.
"Every team has strong and weak points. We have to make sure that Messi doesn't get the ball."
Messi has scored four goals in five appearances in Brazil this summer.
