Both Robin van Persie and Nigel de Jong are selected to start for Netherlands in tonight's World Cup semi-final against Argentina.

Both Robin van Persie and Nigel de Jong have been selected to start for Netherlands in tonight's World Cup semi-final against Argentina.

Van Persie was doubtful because of a stomach problem, while De Jong was initially ruled out of the whole tournament with a groin injury.

De Jong's return is the only change made by Louis van Gaal, with the AC Milan man replacing Memphis Depay in the starting XI.

Argentina, meanwhile, make two changes to their lineup.

Marcos Rojo returns from suspension to replace Jose Maria Basanta at left-back, while Enzo Perez is the man selected to fill in for the injured Angel di Maria in midfield.

Sergio Aguero is fit again, but hasn't been selected in attack.

Netherlands: Cillessen; De Vrij, Vlaar, Martins Indi; Kuyt, De Jong, Wijnaldum; Sneijder, Blind; Robben, Van Persie

Argentina: Romero; Zabaleta, Demichelis, Garay, Rojo; Perez, Biglia, Mascherano; Lavezzi, Higuain, Messi
