Lionel Messi has insisted that Argentina "want more" after reaching the semi-finals of the World Cup.
La Albiceleste, who last appeared at this stage of the competition in 1990, secured their berth in the last four of the tournament with a narrow 1-0 victory against Belgium yesterday evening.
The Barcelona forward impressed again for the South Americans, yet he repeatedly found himself dropping deep to find possession of the ball.
"We've reached our first goal, to be among the final four," Messi is quoted as saying by Goal.com. "Now we want more. We enjoyed what we experienced, but let's think about what's coming. We are prepared.
"We ran more than ever. We didn't create as much as other times, we didn't do as much as we did at other times. I played a different game and I had to run more than usual. When I came to the ball, I was a little tired but we are playing as a team."
Argentina will take on the Netherlands on Wednesday night for a place in next week's showpiece final.
