Argentina and their coach Alejandro Sabella will be cheered on in their World Cup semi-final tomorrow night by Sheffield United fans who remember his impact as a player in the late 1970s.
Former teammate Tony Kenworthy has been singing the praises of the 59-year-old, who will attempt to guide the Albiceleste to their first World Cup final for 24 years tomorrow evening in Sao Paulo when they take on Netherlands.
Sabella joined the Blades in 1978 and had two successful years at Brammall Lane before he was sold to Leeds United in 1980.
Remembering Sabella, Kenworthy told PA: "What a fantastic lad. I can't say enough about him. It can't be England, so we are all hoping it will be Argentina. Once a Blade, always a Blade."
If Argentina do claim victory tomorrow night, they will face the winner of tonight's match, either Brazil or Germany, in Sunday's final in Rio de Janeiro.
