Paris Saint-Germain's Ezequiel Lavezzi has taken the place of Sergio Aguero in the Argentina starting lineup for this afternoon's World Cup knockout encounter against Switzerland.
Aguero has been unable to recover from a hamstring complaint, so Lavezzi will form part of a three-pronged attack alongside Lionel Messi and Gonzalo Higuain.
Aside from that, head coach Alejandro Sabella has kept faith with the same side that defeated Nigeria 3-2 last time out.
Meanwhile, the Swiss are unchanged from the team that overcame Honduras 3-0 thanks to a hat-trick from Xherdan Shaqiri.
Argentina: Romero; Rojo, Fernandez, Garay, Zabaleta; Gago, Mascherano; Di Maria; Higuain, Messi, Lavezzi
Switzerland: Benaglio; Lichtsteiner, Rodriguez, Schar, Djourou; Inler, Xhaka, Behrami, Shaqiri; Mehmedi, Drmic
