Dominik Szoboszlai agent 'confirms Arsenal interest'
The agent of Red Bull Salzburg starlet Dominik Szoboszlai has allegedly confirmed that Arsenal are interested in the 20-year-old.
The Gunners have been linked with a swoop for Szoboszlai for some time after he burst onto the scene last season, with the Hungary international already notching up five goals and eight assists in all competitions during the 2019-20 campaign.
Szoboszlai is also believed to be attracting interest from RB Leipzig and AC Milan, but it is the Gunners who have reportedly made their intentions clear ahead of future transfer windows.
According to Hungarian outlet Index, the 20-year-old's agent Matyas Esterhazy responded "Arsenal's interest is real" when asked about it during a discussion at the Hungarian Forbes magazine offices.
With regards to Milan's and Leipzig's supposed interest, Esterhazy allegedly claimed that Szoboszlai would prefer to remain in a German-speaking league but added that Milan are now out of the running.
Szoboszlai's current deal with RB Salzburg is set to run until 2022.
Mohamed Elneny in line for new Arsenal deal?
Midfielder Mohamed Elneny has reportedly put himself in line to earn a new contract at Arsenal.
Having spent last season on loan at Besiktas, the 28-year-old was expected to be sold during the summer transfer window.
However, after remaining at the Emirates Stadium, the Egypt international has been provided with eight starts and two substitute appearances in all competitions.
According to the Daily Mail, Gunners boss Mikel Arteta has been left impressed by Elneny's performances, leading to him wanting to keep the player in the long term.
Although Elneny still has over 18 months remaining on his existing deal, the club's board are likely to act before the end of the year.
