Arsenal forward Olivier Giroud has said that Paris Saint-Germain are "the favourites" to record all three points when the Gunners travel to Paris in the Champions League next week.
Both teams will begin their Group A campaign with a clash in the French capital on Tuesday night, and while Arsenal will enter the match off the back of a 2-1 win over Southampton, PSG were held 1-1 by Saint-Etienne on Friday night.
Despite PSG's struggles in the opening weeks of the new season, Giroud has placed the French champions as 'the leader of the group' ahead of the meeting at Parc des Princes.
"We knew this victory over Southampton would require character even if everything was not easy. The Champions League is a different competition," Giroud told Telefoot. "Paris will regroup from their draw and are the favourites and leader of this group. It is up to us to put doubt into them."
Giroud is yet to find the back of the net for Arsenal this season.
