Aaron Ramsey admits Arsenal lack belief

Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey thinks that the Gunners should believe in their ability to beat Bayern Munich at the Emirates tonight.

Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey has conceded that the Gunners currently lack the mental edge required to bring trophies back to North London.

The Gunners have one chance left to win silverware this season in the Champions League, with the pressure on to deliver against Bayern Munich in the first leg of their last-16 tie at the Emirates tonight.

Ramsey thinks that Arsenal have showed they are capable of beating anyone in a one-off match but need to find consistency to fight on multiple fronts.

He told the club's official website: "On our day we're capable of producing good results against anybody and we've proven that over the last few seasons. But consistency has been the issue with us.

"Whether it will take us to win something before we actually believe that we can go on and be a threat in everything, I don't know. On our day we're more than capable of producing great performances and great results.

"Munich got to the final last season and are so successful in this competition and in their league over many years now. It will be a tough game, but we're confident that on our day we can give anybody a good game and come out on top."

Arsene Wenger's side are currently fifth in the Premier League table and four points off qualifying for next season's Champions League.
