Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has said that he is looking forward to the club's showdown with AC Milan, following the Champions League draw this afternoon.
The Gunners, who beat Milan at the same stage of the competition in 2008, became the first English side ever to do so at the San Siro – a stadium shared with local rivals Inter.
"It is a difficult draw but an exciting one," Wenger told the club's official website. "They could say exactly the same thing I suppose. It is a 50:50. So let's make sure we continue to improve until February.
"We have good memories at San Siro. As I say it is an interesting draw. Ideally, it is a draw for one round later but you take them when they happen.
"There is not much more to say really – everybody knows Milan, everybody knows Arsenal. We have been in the Champions League for many years and both sides play positive football."
Meanwhile, Arsenal will travel to the Etihad Stadium this weekend to take on former Inter boss Roberto Mancini's Citizens.
