Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere has hailed England boss Roy Hodgson's decision to bring Gary Neville into the coaching set-up.
Neville will join the backroom team for England ahead of Euro 2012, and Wilshere believes that it is "genius".
"The appointment of Gary Neville is genius. When you watch him on Sky, his football knowledge is clear for everyone to see," Wilshere told talkSPORT.
"I think it's important that he's a young guy who knows the dressing room. He's played with or against most of the guys and his hunger on the pitch was clear, so hopefully he can bring that into the dressing room."
Wilshere misses out on Euro 2012 through injury.
