Arsenal forward Danny Welbeck will face no retrospective action from UEFA for his alleged dive in the Europa League meeting with AC Milan.
The 27-year-old went to ground under minimal contact from Ricardo Rodriguez, earning his side a penalty which he went on to convert at a key point in the last-16 tie.
Arsenal went on to win the match 3-1 on the night and 5-1 on aggregate, setting up a meeting with CSKA Moscow in the next round, but much of the post-match debate centered around the Welbeck incident.
After reviewing the incident, though, European football governing body UEFA has announced that no action will be taken against the England international.
Welbeck has seven goals to his name in all competitions this season, two of which came in the second leg against Milan.
