Beginning their next quest for a record-extending 15th FA Cup crown, Arsenal welcome Liverpool to the Emirates for a blockbuster third-round tie on Sunday afternoon.

Jurrien Timber continues to make strong progress in his recovery from an ACL injury, but the Dutchman is still a long way from being back to full fitness, which could supposedly be achieved in March.

Thomas Partey

Thomas Partey was initially believed to have had a strong chance of coming back from thigh surgery for the third-round tie, but he was a notable omission from Ghana's AFCON squad, with national team head coach Chris Hughton describing his problem as one of the most serious he has faced in his career. Oleksandr Zinchenko sat out the loss to Fulham on December 31 with a calf injury and was sent for scans earlier this week, but he is progressing well and might be in with a chance of coming back this weekend.
