Bayern Munich captain Philip Lahm has said that his Germany teammate Mesut Ozil is "desperate" to win trophies with Arsenal.
The Gunners face Hull City in the FA Cup final on Saturday as the club look to end their nine-year wait for silverware.
"I have spoken with Mesut since his move [from Real Madrid] - and he chose Arsenal because of the belief they showed in him and because he believed he would be successful there," Lahm told Goal.com.
"He is a player who is motivated by success - and he is desperate to win trophies.
"For him to win one in his first season with Arsenal would be a big achievement."
Both players feature in Joachim Low's Germany squad for this summer's World Cup in Brazil.
