Nacho Monreal has admitted that he is "very happy" with his goal during Arsenal's win over Manchester United in the FA Cup quarter-finals.
The defender put the Gunners ahead at Old Trafford last night as they reached the last four of the competition with a 2-1 victory.
Arsenal's reward for beating United is a semi-final clash with Aston Villa at Wembley Stadium.
"I'm very happy to play and secondly because I could score and help the team win," Monreal told the club's official website. "I am a player who doesn't score too many goals so when I do I'm very happy.
"I didn't have time to think because David de Gea came out very quickly. I controlled it well and I saw the space and tried to put the ball there. I'm very happy because I finished the goal."
Arsenal continue their Premier League campaign on Saturday when they welcome West Ham United to the Emirates Stadium.
