Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger insists that he is fully focused on leading his side to victory against Brighton & Hove Albion in their FA Cup match tomorrow.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has insisted that his side's FA Cup clash with Brighton & Hove Albion tomorrow is an important match.

The Gunners are four points behind local rivals Tottenham Hotspur in the race for the final Champions League spot, leading to speculation that Wenger could turn his focus to the league and rest key players in cup matches.

However, the Frenchman claims that every match is important to his side, especially ones that carry the potential to end their eight-year wait for a trophy.

"Tomorrow has a big importance to me because it is our next game and we are looking for consistency because we know that will be the key for us to be successful until the end of the season," said Wenger.

"It is a possibility of course for a trophy and we do not want to neglect that. Let's be a bit realistic and pragmatic and go game to game, but I feel there is a potential in our team. Hopefully that will come out from now on until the end of the season.

"Let's just continue to play and not worry too much about who we play, but focus on how we can repeat the quality performances."

Meanwhile, Brighton boss Gus Poyet has spoken of the huge task his side face if they want to progress into the next round.
