Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain makes his first Arsenal start since August in one of six Gunners changes for their FA Cup fourth-round clash with Coventry City at the Emirates.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain will make his first Arsenal start since the opening day of the season in their FA Cup fourth-round match with Coventry City tonight.

The England international midfielder has made two brief cameos as a substitute since recovering from the knee injury that ruled him out for five months.

He is one of six players recalled by Arsene Wenger, who rests first-team regulars Olivier Giroud, Santi Cazorla, Mathieu Flamini, Bacary Sagna and Wojciech Szczesny, but Mesut Ozil is retained.

Lukas Fabianski, Carl Jenkinson, Lukas Podolski, Kieran Gibbs and Nicklas Bendtner all feature from the off as Arsenal rotate heavily ahead of their Premier League trip to Southampton on Tuesday.

Coventry make just the one alteration from the team that struck late to draw at Preston North End last weekend, with Billy Daniels coming into the side to replace Jordan Clarke, who is on the bench.

Steven Pressley continues to name Leon Clarke up front despite the fact that the Sky Blues' top goalscorer has issued a transfer request and is interesting Wolverhampton Wanderers among others.
