Sports Mole rounds up all of Arsenal's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Sunday's Premier League clash with Southampton.

Arsenal will go in search of a ninth consecutive win in all competitions when they meet Southampton at St Mary's in Sunday's Premier League clash.

The Gunners sealed their place in the knockout rounds of the Europa League with a 1-0 win over PSV Eindhoven on Thursday, with Granit Xhaka scoring the only goal of the game.

That narrow success marked Arsenal's third 1-0 victory on the bounce, having also beaten Leeds United by that scoreline to go four points clear of Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur at the top of the Premier League table.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Arsenal's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the clash with the Saints, who claimed a crucial 1-0 win over Bournemouth in midweek.

Bukayo Saka

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Calf
Possible return date: October 23 (vs. Southampton)

Bukayo Saka took a kick to his calf in the win over PSV and was not moving comfortably at the end of the match, but Mikel Arteta still expects the 21-year-old to be fine for Sunday.

Mohamed Elneny

Status: Out
Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: Unknown

Mohamed Elneny continues to rehabilitate from a serious hamstring injury and will not take to the field again for Arsenal before the New Year.

Emile Smith Rowe

Status: Out
Type of injury: Groin
Possible return date: Unknown

Elneny is being kept company in the long-term treatment room by Emile Smith Rowe, who is out until December at the earliest after undergoing groin surgery.

Oleksandr Zinchenko

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Calf
Possible return date: October 23 (vs. Southampton)

Oleksandr Zinchenko was again absent from the squad to face PSV due to his calf injury, but Arteta has now revealed that the left-back is "close" to making a full recovery.

ARSENAL'S SUSPENSION LIST

Arsenal have no players suspended for this match.
