Sports Mole rounds up Liverpool's injury and suspension news ahead of their Premier League clash with Arsenal on Sunday.
Sports Mole

Liverpool will be looking to follow up their Champions League victory in midweek by claiming maximum points in the Premier League when they lock horns with Arsenal at the Emirates Stadiun on Sunday.

Jurgen Klopp's side secured a 2-0 win at home against Rangers on Tuesday courtesy of goals either side of half time from Trent Alexander-Arnold and Mohamed Salah.

The Reds now turn their attention back to the Premier League where they have won only two of their opening seven games and sit ninth in the table, eight places and 11 points behind leaders Arsenal.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Liverpool's latest injury and suspension news ahead of their contest with Mikel Arteta's side.

Andrew Robertson

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: October 12 (vs. Rangers)

Andrew Robertson has missed Liverpool's last three matches in all competitions since he picked up a knee injury during the 4-1 defeat against Napoli in the Champions League.

Klopp has confirmed that the Scotsman has returned to the training pitch, but Sunday's trip to North London will come too soon for the left-back.

Arthur Melo

Status: Out
Type of injury: Muscle
Possible return date: October 12 (vs. Rangers)

Summer signing Arthur Melo will miss Sunday's game after picking up a muscle injury in the buildup to Tuesday's Champions League win over Rangers.

Naby Keita

Status: Out
Type of injury: Thigh
Possible return date: October 12 (vs. Rangers)

Naby Keita is yet to feature for Liverpool this season due to a thigh injury, but Klopp has said that the midfielder may return at some stage this month.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain

Status: Out
Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: October 12 (vs. Rangers)

Like Keita, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is also yet to play for the Reds this term, but he is expected to return to the squad at some point this month, although Sunday's game will come too soon for the former Arsenal man.

Curtis Jones

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Calf
Possible return date: October 9 (vs. Arsenal)

Curtis Jones has been sidelined since he injured his calf in the Community Shield win over Manchester City back in July, but Klopp has hinted that the midfielder could feature in the matchday squad this weekend.

Kaide Gordon

Status: Out
Type of injury: Pelvis
Possible return date: Unknown

Eighteen-year-old Kaide Gordon has been sidelined since February with a number of different injuries, the latest of which being a pelvic problem. There is currently no timescale on the attacker's return.

LIVERPOOL'S SUSPENSION LIST

Liverpool have no suspensions for Sunday's match against Arsenal.
