Manchester City play host to Arsenal in the Premier League on Wednesday night as English football resumes after a three-month break due to the coronavirus pandemic.
After City's appearance in the EFL Cup final, this game had been scheduled to take place in the middle of March, only for the fixture to be postponed in the days before the top flight was brought to a halt.
Although Pep Guardiola's side are realistically out of the running for the title, victory at the Etihad Stadium would move the club seven points clear of third-placed Leicester City.
Here, Sports Mole rounds up City's latest injury and suspension news ahead of welcoming the Gunners to the North-West.
Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Unknown
Possible return date: June 17 (vs. Arsenal)
While Laporte had made his return from a knee injury before the coronavirus pandemic, another fitness issue kept him out of a training match in preparation for the resumption. However, the Frenchman has since returned to training, suggesting that he will be available for selection on Wednesday.
Leroy Sane
Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Lack of match fitness
Possible return date: June 17 (vs. Arsenal)
Although Sane is fully recovered from a knee injury which has kept him out for the entire season, the German has not played any competitive action since the beginning of August. With that in mind, Guardiola must decide whether or not to be cautious with the 24-year-old.
MAN CITY'S SUSPENSION LIST
Man City have no players suspended for this match.
